Guardian FRI doorsets are designed for internal locations and are suitable for fire resistance purposes in commercial and industrial applications.
Fire tests have been carried out at Warrington Fire Research Centre to BS476:Part 22 for periods up to and including 4 hours integrity and 60 minutes insulation.

DOOR LEAF
62mm thick, constructed from two skins of 1.0mm thick galvanized steel with a mineral wool core.
The void between the two skins is in-filled with mineral wool.
The hinge edge is fitted with 2 No. high security steel pins which locate in the frame in the closed position
DOOR FRAME
2.0mm thick galvanized steel folded to form a single rebate profile
Sections are pressed from 2.0mm thick galvanized steel to form a single rebate, blockwork frame profile. Headers are profiled to form a smooth, mitred joint with the full height vertical posts.
Uprights are reinforced with steel plates at the hinge & lock points.
Frames are arranged for bolt fixing to any suitable opening structure.
SEALS
Compression and drop seals are fitted into the frames and bases of the leaves.
FINISH
Door leaves and frames receive one coat of self etching primer, as standard, for site painting. Alternatively, they are supplied factory finished in any standard RAL or BS4800 colour. Specialist paint systems to suit coastal/chemical environments and foodsafe applications are also available.
