Tuff-Vent

Alongside our standard steel and aluminium louvred products, we also supply a security rated louvred door. Certified to PAS 24 and Secured by Design approved, TUFF-VENT offers maximum free airflow whilst maintaining strength and security. TUFF-VENT is fully CE compliant to BS EN 14351-1 and can be polyester powdercoated in our standard range of colours.

Maximum airflow, maximum strength

TUFF-VENT uses a standard 2mm galvanised steel louvre vane throughout the construction of the door, welded at every junction for additional strength. This robustness enabled TUFF-VENT to be certified to PAS 24, earning this product Secured by Design accreditation – the official UK Police initiative to ‘design out crime’.

When calculated on a 1000mm x 2100mm over frame door, TUFF-VENT achieves a free area of 55%. When based on the area of the louvres only, this equates to 72%.
